Squash Blossom necklaces by tradition are worn by both Navajo and Hopi men and women. This necklace c. 1940 has turquoise set into each of the 23 silver squash blossoms. Strung on a double strand of silver beads the petals surround the turquoise cabochons and the Naja, which features 3 of the blossoms is made with carinated silver with twisted wire through the center.
