Beautiful cast sterling silver cross with turquoise, signed L. Iule, on Navajo handmade silver chain. Lupe Iule, was born in 1916 and was married to Horace Iule (Zuni), who taught her silversmithing and with whom she collaborated. Lupe continued making pieces after Horace's death in 1978, using her husbands designs and molds, and collaborating with her daughter Celia.
