An unusual technique was used to make this turquoise bracelet. There are ten narrow plates, each with 3 stones set into silver, then overlaid into the square wire frame of the bracelet in a row. Each is stamped on both ends. It was either made by a Zuni silversmith, or very possibly by a Navajo silversmith trying to emulate the look of Zuni inlay. Either way, it is a fabulous piece of history, C. 1930.
