The real deal. This Mexican made ring is made of silver with a small amount of brass inlaid behind the central motif, a Native American Chief's head with feather head dress. The age of this ring is evident in the incredible amount of wear to the design on all sides, well loved and worn over time, is a beautiful thing in itself.
The Mexican Biker Ring has it's origins in post revolutionary Mexico, where melting the devalued silver pesos and making them into souvenir rings brought more money than the coins themselves. These rings were favored by bikers and servicemen after brass knuckles were outlawed, as with a few of these rings on, the effect would be the same. Since that time, these rings have become an iconic style among bikers, rockabilly, and vintage collectors
