Antique Whiteheart Trade Bead Necklace with Coral Pendant and Sacred Heart Coin

Antique glass trade beads and Navajo made silver beads with Zuni Coral pendant, and antique Mexican silver coin pendant. The Mexican coin is from Mexico and commemorates the Association of the Daughters of Mary Immaculate established in 1862, depicting Mary on one side and immaculate hearts on the front.

The red beads are called whitehearts due to their white center and were heavily traded in the 18th and 19th centuries. Silver beads are small Navajo pearls.

This necklace is 26" long and fits over the head.
