Zuni split band cuff made from hand hammered ingot, with a Rainbowman figure, or Rainbow Dancer he is sometimes called, set over the top. The Rainbow Man is considered by the Pueblo Tribes of the Southwest to be a sacred guardian spirit, and is identified with the life-giving summer rains and the colors of the rainbow. The stone to stone inlay is made with turquoise, spiny oyster, mother of pearl, and jet. The figure has a hand stamped silver cloud floating above him and is surrounded by raindrops. The sides of the cuff are beautifully stamped.
