Narrow partially carinated bangle with flattened top to place 5 turquoise cabochons. There are silver raindrops between each setting with two on each row end. The carinated ends are hand chiseled. Circa 1946, 'Southwest Arts & Crafts', Santa Fe NM, establish 1916. Weight 28 grams
United Indian Traders Association (UITA), was established in 1931, incorporated as a non-profit for the purpose of authentication of Native American goods. The die stamps were distributed and used beginning in 1946. Items stamped with the UITA stamp were guaranteed hand hammered Indian made products. Each trader who joined was given a unique number. UITA 21 was assigned to Southwest Arts & Crafts, Santa Fe, New Mexico, owned by Julius Gans.
