Early Pueblo 19 Stone Twisted Wire Bracelet Cuff

This outstanding bracelet is from the first quarter of the 20th century and was painstakingly made using multiple silversmithing techniques. The central turquoise cabochon is surrounded by a very fine twisted wire, then twelve small stones set around it on a cuff made of 3 wire bands. The center band being finely twisted. The central flower is framed by bars of twisted wire, then a looped wire that has been first twisted around a dowel then flattened and placed between the bar and 3 more turquoise stones. This piece was well worn next to other bracelets as you can see the wear to the outer stones which have been slightly flattened. I love this piece, it has such a story to tell!
